Biography
Lynne combines her background as a marketer and skills as a strategic communications leader to develop comprehensive growth plans for one of the fastest-growing leaders in physical and digital marketing, Ironmark. With 20+ years of experience, Lynne founded and leads the digital marketing agency that has grown from a strong idea in 2016 to a team of 30 today. As VP of Marketing and Strategic Communications, Lynne works with collaborative, cross-functional departments to service clients such as the US Naval Academy, The University of Maryland System, Sardi’s, Sandler Training, Medstar Health, and more.
Before Ironmark, Lynne held marketing director roles at several non-profits and associations such as BlackRock Center for the Arts and Association of Performing Arts Presenters. At BlackRock, her marketing acumen led to a surge in sales and significantly increased digital engagement. Her tenure at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters saw her spearhead communications, realizing a substantial growth in membership revenue and corporate sponsorships.
Earlier, Lynne served as the Executive Director of the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, where she generated remarkable growth in revenue streams. Her sales and marketing roles at E-centives and Paver Downes Agency in the UK further illustrate her ability to manage pivotal marketing campaigns and to expand clientele.
An early experimenter in the convergence of AI and modern marketing, Lynne also has expertise in training, educating, and thought-leadership on big-tech advancements, large language models, AI tools, and more. She has conducted webinars in the “Unlocking Secrets of ChatGPT” series, and trained professionals, emphasizing the immense potential AI holds for the marketing industry.
Lynne attended S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Advertising. Her career journey, marked by perseverance and innovation, included a short stint playing Lady MacBeth in Scotland, and doing stand-up comedy in New York City. Lynne currently lives in Clarksburg, Maryland with her husband and three children.
