Biography

With 14 years of experience in public health, Brittaney specializes in applied health communication and social marketing for the development of national consumer-facing campaign design, implementation, and evaluation. As a Program Lead, she spearheads the management of CMRignite’s major federal government health contracts, providing strategic guidance and innovative ideas to internal interdisciplinary teams and client partners, such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) ASPA (Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs) Digital Communications Division, HHS Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP), and National Institutes for Health (NIH) National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Prior to CMRignite, Brittaney consulted the HHS Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) to launch their Take Good Care campaign and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. Brittaney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Spelman College, a Master’s in Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in the Department of Communication at Georgia State University.
