Biography
Morgan brings a dynamic blend of leadership and global experience to her role as Chief Marketing Officer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Morgan oversees a fast-growing team of strategists and creators who champion brand strategy, media relations, influencer marketing, digital media, content and creative services, multi-channel marketing, disability outreach and engagement, and the critically acclaimed MDA Quest Media platform.
With a career that spans strategic communication, marketing, fundraising, and advocacy, she has been instrumental in driving impactful, award-winning campaigns across multiple sectors. Before joining MDA, Morgan served as Chief Communication Strategy Officer for the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases, where she championed initiatives for rare disease communities. Her tenure as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communication at the ALS Association saw her spearheading efforts that expanded awareness and support for ALS research.
She has held senior leadership positions at the International Association of Foundation Professionals, guiding communications as Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Strategic Communications. In the Middle East, she led communications at the American University of Beirut and The American University in Cairo, shaping narratives for top-tier global institutions, including USAID’s Soma Umenye literacy project in Rwanda.
A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Morgan’s global outlook and commitment to communication excellence continue to drive transformative results in the nonprofit and health advocacy spaces.
She lives in Washington, DC.
