Biography

Charmion N. Kinder is a nationally recognized social impact strategist with a proven track record of advancing transformational initiatives that empower the next generation of difference makers. As Chief Impact Officer of CNKinder, Inc., she leads mission-driven projects and cross-sector collaborations designed to solve big challenges and expand the common good.

Currently, Charmion serves as Head of Development Impact and Communications for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation, where she drives philanthropic storytelling in support of Team USA athletes. Charmion previously served in both the 44th and 46th Presidential Administrations, holding senior public affairs and engagement roles. Her government service includes Presidential Appointments as: Chief Principal for the Peace Corps Office of Communications; Senior Advisor for Public Engagement & Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of the Vice President; Assistant Press Secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Special Assistant for the U.S. Department of Commerce; and Press Aide to First Lady Michelle Obama.

Her corporate and nonprofit experience spans influential roles at Global Citizen, The Walt Disney Company, Discovery Education, Edelman, and the Ad Council—where she has shaped initiatives focused on civic engagement and global citizenship.

A proud graduate of Howard University’s School of Communications and an alumna of Harvard Business School’s Corporate Social Responsibility Executive Education Program, Charmion is a trusted voice at the intersection of public service, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership.
