Doug Chapin

Doug is a senior subject matter expert for our research, analysis, and delivery of Fors Marsh election research programs. Doug is a well-known writer and speaker on election topics and has an extensive academic background in election administration and policy. His elections expertise has expanded the use of evidence-based policymaking and election administration by federal, state, and local governments, non-governmental organizations, and advocates in the field. His past clients include the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), the Office of the D.C. Auditor, the Democracy Fund, Rice University’s Baker Institute, and the Carter Center.
