Biography

Dr. Laura Guay serves in a dual role as a research professor at the GWU Milken Institute School of Public Health and vice president for research at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. At EGPAF she leads and supports a broad range of research activities across the organization, working with multi-disciplinary teams both in the U.S. and Africa to identify priority research questions and generate high quality evidence to improve programs and inform policy. An expert in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, Dr. Guay’s current research focuses on how to translate key scientific breakthroughs in HIV prevention and treatment in children and families in low- and middle-income settings.
