Biography
Martha Boudreau is Executive Vice President, Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO) at AARP. With 38 million members, AARP is the nation’s largest social mission organization.
Her responsibilities include:
- Membership acquisition & renewal; digital, mobile and voice marketing; reputation management; brand advertising; earned and social media.
- AARP’s award-winning publications, AARP The Magazine& the AARP Bulletin, as well as AARP.org which has 26+ million unique visitors each month.
- Driving AARP Experience (AARPx), the organization’s customer experience function designed to provide a consistent high value, seamless experience for members across all platforms.
Before joining AARP, Martha served as President, Mid-Atlantic & Latin America for FleishmanHillard a global communications firm. She started her career in Washington, working on Capitol Hill.
Martha is a member of the Arthur Page Society as well as the PR Seminar and the International Women’s Forum. She serves on the Boards of the Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing (AIMM), Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and the American Bird Conservancy.
In December 2019, Martha was inducted to the PRWeek Hall of Fame in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the communications industry. In 2018 she was also inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Public Relations Society of America’s National Capital Chapter and in 2016 she was named “PR Woman of the Year” by Washington Women in Public Relations.
