Biography

As the Director, Digital Communications for the United States Postal Service, Sucich provides strategic counsel, guidance, direction and response to the Postmaster General/CEO, USPS Board of Governors, the USPS Executive Leadership Team and executive management on all matters related to digital communications. He manages and provides strategic direction for multiple digital communications portfolios to include the three business units of social media – marketing and editorial, social customer response and social business intelligence on B2B and B2C. Sucich also manages the entire digital creative team direction to include video production and graphic animation with a focus on customer and employee communications. He content manages and directs the USPS Intranet and parts of USPS.com with responsibility to provide strategic and tactical direction across multiple business units within the USPS digital community. In addition, Sucich manages the team that oversees the social media employee advocacy program for USPS, USPS Zone which is a voluntary program — the first of its kind in the federal government — allowing executive and administrative schedule employees to share the organization’s stamp promotions, package tips and more on their personal social media accounts using brand approved content. Sucich joined the Postal Service in 1998 after spending fifteen years in the television broadcast industry at both the network and network affiliate level. During this time, Sucich was a video photographer, producer and executive producer specializing in sports programming and documentary production. Sucich worked for such networks as NBC, ABC, CNN, ESPN, and The Sports Network in Canada. (TSN) He was nominated for two Emmy awards during his broadcast time.
