A driven leader and strategist with over 15 years of experience, Tory Hairston is a co-owner of Meraki Communications Group and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). With a proven track record in communications, marketing, and advertising, Tory leads cross-functional teams and drives high-impact strategies and to deliver thoughtful and compelling solutions. Tory is passionate about and committed to turning bold ideas into powerful stories that uplift overlooked and underserved communities, fostering meaningful and authentic connections, and using artful communications to effect lasting change.

She specializes in integrated marketing, branding and visual storytelling, strategic communications planning,  project and client management, and inclusive communications that resonate across diverse audiences. Her work spans industries such as federal government, healthcare, fashion & retail, higher education, and automotive, with a focus on creating campaigns that champion inclusivity and equity and are built on the pillars of inclusion, empowerment, and change.

Tory earned her BA in a dual degree in English and African American Studies from the University of Virginia, is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and lives in Upper Marlboro, MD with her husband, son, and shih tzu.
