Biography
Eileen Cassidy Rivera is an award-winning communications, public affairs, and marketing executive with more than two decades of experience transforming brands, building market credibility, and driving measurable growth for healthcare technology and government services organizations. As Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Longitude Health, she leads the company’s integrated marketing and communications strategy, brand positioning, thought leadership, member engagement, and digital ecosystem — helping establish Longitude Health as the trusted, innovative force reshaping how health systems solve their most complex operational challenges.
Prior to joining Longitude Health, Eileen was Vice President of Public Relations and External Communications at Maximus, where she shaped enterprise reputation and led public affairs strategy across federal, state, and global government markets. Before Maximus, she held VP-level marketing and communications roles at Cerner (now Oracle), Ciox Health (now Datavant), Harris Healthcare Solutions (now NantHealth), and Vangent (now GDIT), where she led brand strategies, health IT market positioning, and go-to-market campaigns that consistently delivered measurable ROI and competitive differentiation across the healthcare sector.
A four-time honoree on WashingtonExec’s Top 25 Communications and Marketing Executives list, Eileen is the author of Hard Talk: Confessions of an Accidental Marketing and Communications Professional (2023) and a published thought leader in leading industry publications including Bloomberg Government and Washington Technology.
Earlier in her career, she served in leadership roles at the federal, state, and local levels of government — including the Department of Commerce, the Small Business Administration, and the Peace Corps during the Clinton Administration — providing her with firsthand insight into the policy and regulatory environments shaping healthcare today. Eileen holds an MBA from the Kogod School of Business at American University, a BA from American University’s School of International Service, and an Executive Education Certificate from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
