Benjy Messner

Benjy Messner is the founder and chief executive of New River Strategies, an audience intelligence firm that helps companies, campaigns, and causes identify the audiences that matter, predict what moves them, and turn those insights into action.  Throughout his career, Benjy has advised Fortune 10 companies, leading national nonprofit organizations, and political campaigns at every level of the ballot across 44 states and a dozen countries on making better strategic decisions using data, research, and technology.  Benjy is an instructor in Columbia University’s Master’s in Political Analytics program and has been recognized as a Campaigns & Elections Rising Star and one of the American Association of Political Consultants’ 40 Under 40.  He is a graduate of Georgetown University and a proud native and resident of Washington, DC
