Mustafa Hasnain

Mustafa builds AI applications for the social sector. He founded Grant Assistant, an AI platform that helps organizations write winning grant proposals in a fraction of the time, launched it in 2024, and sold it to FreeWill in a multimillion-dollar acquisition just six months later. It now serves thousands of nonprofits. Today he’s CEO and co-founder of ActivatUs, the AI-native marketing, communications and fundraising partner for mid-market nonprofits and associations, built by the team behind Creative Frontiers and its 200+ projects for clients including the World Bank, UNICEF and Stanford. He runs ActivatUs with a team of people and AI agents. He holds an MSc in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics, has also studied programming and technology, and has lived and worked in six countries.
